# The Smokeless Handover *The Black Powder Armory, Firearms, Blades, and Armour for Exodus NDS, 1400 to 1938. Source: https://exodusnds.com/sourcebooks/black-powder-armory/the-smokeless-handover* Smokeless powder arrives in 1886. Within fifteen years every army has a magazine rifle that fires ten times a minute with no cloud to mark it, and the weapons of this book are obsolete. The arms of 1890 to 1938 are in *The Modern Armory*. For a table running the First World War with only this book, their stat lines are below. None of them is Unreliable, none uses the Prepare reload, and none makes smoke. | Weapon | Skill | Dmg | Crit | Range | Enc | Price | Avail | Qualities | Examples | |:--|:--|:-:|:-:|:--|:-:|--:|:--|:--|:--| | **Service Pistol** | Light Ranged | 6 | 3 | Medium | 1 | 300 | Common | Concealable 1 | Luger P08, Colt M1911, Mauser C96 | | **Service Revolver** | Light Ranged | 6 | 4 | Medium | 2 | 350 | Common | Accurate 1, Limited Ammo 6 | Webley Mk VI, Nagant M1895, Colt New Service | | **Bolt-Action Rifle** | Heavy Ranged | 8 | 3 | Long | 4 | 600 | Common | Accurate 1, Limited Ammo 5 | Lee-Enfield, Mauser 98, Mosin-Nagant, Springfield M1903 | | **Pump Shotgun** | Heavy Ranged | 8 | 3 | Short | 3 | 500 | Common | Blast 4, Knockdown, Vicious 2 | Winchester M1897 trench gun | | **Submachine Gun** | Light Ranged | 5 | 3 | Medium | 2 | 400 | Military | Auto-Fire | Bergmann MP 18, from 1918 | | **Squad Automatic Weapon** | Gunnery | 9 | 3 | Long | 5 | 1500 | Military | Auto-Fire, Pierce 1, Cumbersome 3 | Lewis gun, Chauchat, BAR, Madsen | | **Fragmentation Grenade** | Light Ranged | 8 | 4 | Short | 1 | 50 | Military | Blast 6, Limited Ammo 1 | Mills bomb, F1 | | **Stick Grenade** | Light Ranged | 7 | 4 | Medium | 1 | 50 | Military | Blast 5, Limited Ammo 1 | Stielhandgranate | | **Flamethrower** | Gunnery | 8 | 4 | Short | 6 | 1500 | Military | Burn 3, Blast 3, Cumbersome 3, Limited Ammo 5 | Flammenwerfer, from 1915 | The water-cooled machine gun on its tripod, the trench mortar, and the field gun are crew weapons, and are in neither book. **What carries over from this book into the trenches:** the Socket Bayonet, the Trench Knife and Trench Club, the Steel Trench Helmet and Trench Armour, and the Dynamite Stick.
