# Modern Armour

*The Armourer, Armour for the Fantasy, Ranged, and Modern Armories. Source: https://exodusnds.com/sourcebooks/the-armourer/modern-armour*

Eleven entries, from a leather jacket to a bomb suit. Each prints **From**, the first period in which it is found: 1939 (in service by 1945), 1946 (first appears 1946 to 1989), or 1990 (first appears 1990 or later).

Modern armour is built against one threat at a time.

| Built against | Entries |
|:--|:--|
| **Ballistic** | Concealed Vest, Tactical Vest, Plate Carrier, Infantry Body Armour |
| **Blast** | Flak Jacket, Infantry Body Armour, Bomb Suit |
| **Blades and clubs** | Leather Jacket, Stab Vest, Riot Gear |
| **Fire** | Fire Proximity Suit, Bomb Suit |

**Ammunition from *The Modern Armory*.** Armour-Piercing loads have Pierce +2 against armour and cover: apply it to the armour's Resistance bonus. Hollow Point treats the target's armour as 1 higher: add 1 to the bonus of any armour worn, to a maximum of +3. Neither changes Deflecting.
