Exodus NDS uses generative AI as part of its creative, editorial, and production workflow. AI output is reviewed, edited, accepted, rejected, or replaced by the team before publication.
We use generative AI images in Exodus NDS materials and on this website. Images may be created from custom prompts, reference notes, rough layouts, sketches, scratch images, or other rough visual direction prepared by the writers and production team.
Final image selections are made for tone, clarity, usefulness, and fit with the setting or product. We may edit, crop, composite, recolor, or otherwise revise generated images before publication.
We use generative AI for line editing, developmental editing, proofreading, rules consistency checks, canon consistency checks, audit passes, drift checks, and comparisons between the core rules, universes, and books within a universe.
We may ask AI systems for thoughts on a passage, alternate solutions, theme fit, clarity, tone, structure, or possible contradictions. We may take suggestions from generative AI and incorporate those suggestions into final text after human review.
We also use AI assistance for glossary entries, indexes, summaries, utility text, and boilerplate drafting. Final rules text, setting text, license references, and publication copy remain subject to human review and the published license language controls where applicable.
We use AI assistance to create and maintain supporting tools for the game, including talent and skill sheets, dice rollers, character sheets, excerpts, build scripts, text splitting scripts, chapter processing scripts, and other production utilities.
AI-assisted code and generated tools may be tested, revised, discarded, or rewritten before use. Website features, downloads, and beta tools are still maintained by the project team.
AI is a tool in the workflow, not an independent publisher for Exodus NDS. We decide what is used, what is changed, and what is released. The presence of this policy does not mean every paragraph, image, rule, or tool was generated by AI.
Drafts, excerpts, notes, prompts, rough images, and production files may be processed through third-party generative AI services as part of this workflow. Those services are separate companies with their own terms, security controls, and data practices.
