Other combatants form nearby clusters. Their individual ranges will differ. Creating a new encounter replaces the working map; save it first if needed.

After continuing, tap an empty hex to place the token.

Using the radar

  1. Select a token or roster row to center its range rings.
  2. With an observer selected, tap another token to show its range and sight line. Use Center on target or select a roster row to recenter.
  3. In View, choose Move, then an empty hex. Confirm with the green check or cancel with the red X. The preview connects the two positions; it does not calculate a route or movement cost.
  4. In Tools, choose a terrain icon or Erase. Single hex paints immediately; Line paints between a start and an end hex. Impassable features cannot be placed over combatants. Terrain flags are reminders for the GM; they do not restrict token placement or movement. Add combatant is also in Tools.
  5. Overview fits all combatants and terrain. It uses a neutral grid because there is no single observer.

Engaged 1 · Short 2 · Medium 3 · Long 4–5 · Extreme 6–7 · Beyond Extreme 8+. The occupied origin is Self. Weapon range varies; Beyond Extreme does not mean every closer weapon can reach.

Altitude, grappling links, edge walls, multiplayer and second-screen display are outside this 2D tool. Sight is a hex-center approximation; the GM resolves corner cases. Colored ranges measure separation, not a walkable route through obstacles.

Conditions

Next Round reduces numbered conditions by one and removes those that expire. It does not apply damage.

0 = until removed; 1 = this round; 2+ = remaining rounds. Next Round counts down numbered conditions. Use Undo to reverse a round advance.

Save a party

Up to 12 PCs. Adding a party replaces the map’s current PCs, keeps NPCs and terrain, and places the party near the center. Undo restores the previous PCs.
