Exodus NDS Core Rules is published under the ORC License.

The ORC License allows you to freely use, adapt, and build upon the Licensed Material defined below, provided you comply with the terms of the ORC License. A full copy of the ORC License is available at https://paizo.com/orclicense.

Licensed Material — The following elements of this document are designated as Licensed Material under the ORC License and may be freely used in your own works:

  • The dice pool resolution mechanic, including pool construction, the cancellation system, and difficulty ratings
  • The six symbol types (Success, Failure, Boon, Bane, Breakthrough, Calamity) as mechanical concepts
  • The six die types (Boon Die, Bane Die, Ability Die, Trial Die, Mastery Die, Crisis Die) and their face distributions as described herein
  • The structured play framework including action economy, adversary tiers, and vehicle characteristics

Reserved Material — The following elements are not Licensed Material and may not be used without express permission:

  • All Universe content, world-building, fiction, and flavor text in official Exodus Universes (defined as Universes published by Kaosweaver, Inc. or its licensed partners)
