Generation Upgrades
Retrofit rates (Chapter 4, Generation Upgrades): double the build points; credits are the build points × the Scale's rate × 2.5, with any added mount at its Hardpoints price (Vehicles Manual, Chapter 12). Modules a newer generation adds to its factory package are bought separately. The points come out of the hull's unspent budget; an upgrade that needs more points than the hull has left cannot be done. Yard time is one week per 10 retrofit points, rounded up.
